Podcast #2: almost done.
I'm nearly finished with the Magic of Eyri episode #2 "A Grand Adventure." I probably COULD of had it finished last week, but anyways...

I think I'm set on a way to do the episodes now. Importing .AIF files into GarageBand that I recorded in Audacity is working extremely well. I have not had any issues--aside from a crash the other day, but I was quitting the program and it froze up. It still doesnt' like playing all of the tracks "live", so I guess I'll have to export it, listen to the whole thing and then make any needed changes. Oh well.

Thankfully, I was able to find some much needed sound effects over on Freesound.org. I highly recommend it as a podcasting resource. It is free, has a good selection and you aren't limited to how much you can download (at least not that I've run into). The only condition is that you must credit those whose sound effects you use. No problem there, as the site tracks everything for you in your user profile. Very handy. I'll just list all of that in the show notes for the episode (the text of the podcast update). I have no issues with crediting folks.

The tempura fried kind on the left here was mine (as were the salmon in the center). That's their Crazy Roll. I loves it.
